Absolutely. By law, we have to give you a copy. It's valid for one to two years, depending on the state.

SPH is the sphere — your main prescription for near or farsightedness. CYL is cylinder — that's for astigmatism. AXIS is the angle of the astigmatism correction.

Not at all — mild astigmatism is very common. Your new glasses will correct it. You might notice sharper vision, especially at night.

Contact lens prescriptions require a separate fitting. I'll measure your corneal curvature and try some trial lenses. That's an additional $50.
