Yeah, I noticed that too. I keep thinking something will take two hours and then it takes a whole day. How do you get better at estimating?

A good rule of thumb is to take your initial estimate and multiply it by 1.5. Also, break tasks into smaller pieces — it is easier to estimate a two-hour subtask than a two-day feature.
