You have mild nearsightedness. I am going to flip through some lenses — tell me which one is clearer, option one or option two.

With your face shape, rectangular or slightly rounded frames would look great. Frames range from $100 to $400. Lenses with anti-glare coating start at $80 extra.

Most people adjust within a week. We will fit you with daily disposables to start — they are the easiest for beginners. No cleaning required, just toss them at the end of the day.

I will teach you right now. Place the lens on your index finger, hold your eyelids open with your other fingers, and look straight ahead. It takes practice, but you will get the hang of it.

Daily disposables run about $30 to $50 per month per eye. Glasses are a one-time cost of $200 to $500 but last years. Many people have both for different situations.
